I’m obsessed with Poshmark. There, I said it. I never thought this app and online version of a thrift store would be so awesome. It’s my addiction — someone stop me 🙃
What is Poshmark?
Are you sure you wanna know? You’ll get sucked right in!! I’ll tell you anyway:
Poshmark is an online marketplace where people can resell their closet. Clothes, shoes, accessories, makeup, you name it. The rumor is that sellers with at least 10 items in their closet are more likely to make a sale. I clearly need to up my game lol.
You’ll see all sorts of brands and pieces. Sellers and buyers can follow each other kind of like a social network. You have a feed and you can see sellers share other people’s items. You can even get updates on new products for your favorite brands.
If there’s a limited edition item you couldn’t snag in the moment, like a Fenty x Puma release, chances are that you can find it on Poshmark. There’s over 5,000 brands and 25 million products available on Poshmark.
You can snag all sorts of cool designer items. FYI — I see brands like Steve Madden, Kate Spade and Michael Kors as designer lol. I’d NEVER pay full price for them and even less now that I discovered Poshmark. You’re allowed to negotiate, so don’t be afraid to fit items into your budget. Just don’t be the person that lowballs too hard.
And best of all, it’s easy to sell on Poshmark. You can list an item in under 5 minutes. You just need good pictures of your item, the brand, a good product description and you’re set! Even set up your profile so fellow Poshers can learn more about you. Learn more on Poshmark’s site.
Here’s a look at my Poshmark treasure cove:
I made sure to include the images sellers included on their listing to keep it authentic to the experience!
My first purchase was a red long sleeve Express romper, a blush lace bomber jacket from Discovery and rose gold Madden Girl gladiator sandals from my friend Brittany! My whole bundle was only $35 + $6.49 (standard) shipping. Everything was great quality and she even threw in some extra goodies! Check out her closet 😘
Then, I got a this mini Kate Spade wallet for the next thing I was eyeing! I negotiated for $15 + standard shipping.
And I had to accompany my mini wallet with this beautiful waist bag/ belt bag/ sophisticated fanny pack. It’s a dream! I’ll be rocking it soon in a blog post for spring adventures 😉 I negotiated this for $35 + standard shipping.
My next spring must have: slides. These would be great to have for chill days at work, beach days and anytime I wanted to be comfy at home. I paid $20 for this + standard shipping.
I got SO excited when I found these. Lulu’s and Qupid sold out of their black t-strap sneakers, so I had to settle. I almost bought these full price on the Qupid site, but then I saw these brand new ones for only $16 + $4.99 special shipping! Score 🙌🏻🏈🥇
And if you thought I was excited with the t-strap sneakers, I almost DIED when I came across these brand new wedges. I wore these wedges in my most recent look, and they were pretty comfortable! I negotiated this for $28 + standard shipping.
Would you believe me if I told you these BRAND NEW MULES were ONLY $5 + standard shipping without negotiation?!
This watch is everything and probably my perpetual mood. Prosecco and rosé all day 🍷 I negotiated this for $42 + standard shipping.
Last but not least, these babies are my most recent purchase. I got rid of my old knee length gladiator sandals because my chicken legs were too skinny for them lmao. These are great because they adjust to my legs and fit just right! I negotiated this for $30 + standard shipping.
If you haven’t been convinced to try Poshmark, are you now?! Tell me! Let me know about your Poshmark experiences in the comments below if you had some, too. Also, if you want a Poshmark etiquette guide and more in-depth instructions than the ones on their site, let me know!
