I’m always on the hunt for a good moisturizer. I always try a different brand whenever my current one runs out. I haven’t hated a moisturizer so far, but I haven’t found my holy grail yet. However, the best facial moisturizer I’ve ever used has to be the Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion.
Luckily enough, it also the most affordable moisturizer I’ve tried. It has sunscreen, no white-cast and it keeps my face hydrated alllll day.
Here’s the product breakdown:
- 4.0 oz of product
- Fragrance free
- SPF 10
This moisturizer has to be the best one I’ve tried because it is fit for ANY skin type. As I mention in all of my blog posts and will probably do until I die, my skin is incredibly dry. My face’s texture can get as rough/ coarse as a towel sometimes lol. My skin drinks up this moisturizer and I’m not left with a weird residue, so it remains hydrated as the day progresses.
It’s lightweight and also ideal for oily skin it’s hydrating without being greasy. I gave some friends with oily skin some of this moisturizer and they loved it. It was the thing they needed to keep themselves hydrated and not produce more facial oils.
This sits very well under foundation and doesn’t make it slip and slide. My face absorbs it quick enough so that it doesn’t affect the foundation. If I don’t wear foundation, it gives me a beautiful glow from within. I think the sunscreen contributes to that; it’s a definitely a key ingredient for healthier and younger looking skin.
My only gripe with this product is that I’ve looked shiny, almost borderline oily, as of late. That could be a combination of factors, but I think it’s worth noting. I attribute it to this product because it generally makes me glowy. If I sweat and only have this on my face, I can look greasy. Be mindful of that and wear a mattifying primer with this if you plan to wear a dewy foundation. I’m actually trying out a marrying primer that’s supposed to be good for dry skin, so be on the lookout for that!
