Here I go, walking into CVS without a clear purpose. I gravitate towards the beauty section and check out the new arrivals. From the corner of my eye, a green little package catches my eye. I grab the Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Calming Paper Mask and walk to the register without thinking twice ?
You probably reading this thinking, “Laura, why did you buy another Yes To sheet mask if the first one irritated your skin beyond relief??” I asked myself the same thing lmao.
Here’s the product breakdown:
To my sweet surprise, the Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Calming Paper Mask didn’t melt off my face or severely irritate it. My face felt hydrated once I took it off and it pretty was enjoyable experience considering how the last sheet mask went down.
I must note that this mask helped me realize that I’m not a fan of sheet masks. They feel gross because they are swimming in liquids and applied onto your face with a layer of paper on top. The liquids feel pretty cold and I feel like the face doesn’t readily absorb it. I feel like I’ve tried more hydrating masks. Also, I don’t necessarily think my face feels clean after using it; you’re not supposed to wipe off the slime, I mean liquids.
Would I repurchase this mask? Nah. If it were handed to me, I’d use it, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to grab one. Sheet masks just don’t do it for me ??♀️
I give the Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Calming Paper Mask 3/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐
What do you think of the Yes To range? Which one works best for you (ex. tomatoes, cucumbers, cotton, coconuts, etc.)?
